Location Details:
This position requires them to come onsite the first day for a half day to obtain equipment and do an onsite training with the HR team. This half day onsite CANNOT be done virtually. They will be required to follow onsite protocols such as wearing a mask and social distancing. After the first half day, they will be required to come back to the office for certain work AS NEEDED. Otherwise, the position will be remote/hybrid outside of the limited days required onsite.


HM Notes:
6-month contract with potential to extend based on performance. Position requires embedded software development with Linux, 8-10 years of C/C++ programming, transport layer security and solid experience in software development processes (requirements, design, coding, unit testing). Medical device experience preferred (automotive and aerospace experience can work too).


Experience and Skills needed:
• Solid programming skills in C/C++.
• Know-how on Cryptographic Libraries like wolfssl or openssl.
• Knowledge on encryption and signing techniques - development level.
• Exposure to technologies related to TSS and PKCS suite.
• Security Engineering on issues around PKI.
• Skill set covering experience to integrate cryptographic functions related to encryption, credential protection (e.g. password encryption, key management), TLS, etc.
• Exposure to scripting languages like JavaScript or Python.
• Know and recognize application security issues such as cross-site scripting, authorization, injection attacks, buffer overflows etc. in code and provide remediation recommendations.
• Work independently or with fast moving Agile development teams.
• Demonstrate skills of self-management in terms of priorities and responsibilities.
• One industry certification (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, OSCP, GWEB, CEH, etc.) preferred
