QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
(Number of years experience isn't as important as number of successful Production implementations, aka Go-Lives).
5+ years of Oracle delivery DBA experience in the IT industry
5+ years of Percona MySQL delivery DBA experience in the IT industry
Proven experience supporting/maintaining Databases systems in the Unix environment
Experience with Oracle RAC technologies 12c and 19c (CRS/ASM/RAC Services)
Experience with Percona Clustering technologies for 5.7 and 8 (manual setup / Linux commands)
Experience in Database monitoring, Performance tuning, Health Checks, Stats collection, Query Optimizing, Indexes
Experience with TSM / backup strategies
