Role: Software QA Engineer

Location: Cupertino, CA (Day1 Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

No OPT/CPT

Rate: 45 hour C2C

 

Description

Ecosystems Accessories team is looking for engineering support to perform functional validation of Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod accessories in our Cupertino Office. 

 

Contractor responsibilities include

Interoperability and functional testing with Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod accessories on latest iOS software and supported hardware

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and generate test report using internal tools 

Report quality issues/defects by providing relevant logs, regression data and detailed debug information

Troubleshoot issues and perform failure analysis

Catalog and maintain the accessory inventory for testing 

 

Key Qualifications

·       2+ years of experience testing consumer electronics

·       Experience with USB, WiFi, Bluetooth protocols

·       Experience in functional and end-to-end testing 

·       Experience filing bugs/issues using internal tools

·       Highly organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results 

·       Ability to work independently and thrive in fast paced environments 

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to describe and document clearly

·       Programing experience in Python or equivalent 

 

Education & Experience

BS Computer Science/Engineering or relevant experience as Software QA Engineer
