They do not want DevOps engineers. They want software Engineers that can write software that can be run on Kubernetes.
Requirements :
* Proficiency coding in Python, Golang, or Bash scripting. We are a polyglot team therefore an ability to learn new languages is a must.
* Familiarity with *nix operating systems and deploying / operating software on *nix based VMs and containers
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Preferences
* Previous software development internship experience on a DevOps team
* Experience or exposure to Kubernetes and containerization
* Familiarity with data engineering principles
* Previous contributions to an Open-Source project or personal GitHub portfolio
* Knowledge of SCRUM and/or Kanban
* Knowledge of how technical decisions drive costs
