Ursus is looking for a strong Software Engineer to design and develop software for its client's current and next generations of Business Systems Applications. This position will be working with the Digital Experience Software Engineering team to build a centralized scalable & highly available Communication Platform to manage all means of communications with consumers. This will be a business-critical system essential to support the growth and mission of Tesla. The candidate will be working in Go, React, Kafka, Elasticsearch and MongoDB technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop large, distributed software applications for digital experience portfolio
- Develop software solutions for highly available/mission critical software integrated into enterprise systems
- Interact with teams of engineers and end-users from multiple disciplines.
- Be nimble and react quickly to changing business conditions
- Work with product managers, content producers, QA engineers and release engineers to own your solution from development to production
- Drive software process improvements that enable progressively increased team efficiency.
- Evangelize best practices in Software development and Software development lifecycle.
- Strong programming skills (Golang)
- 5-8 years of programming experience
- Good understanding and experience on databases (MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB)
- Nice to Have: Kafka
- Good in technical concepts and problem-solving skills
- Dependable: Should be committed to the work assigned and needs full ownership and responsibility on the committed tasks.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
