Title: Data Engineer with Kafka

Location: Durham, NC (Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months

Minimum Experience: 8 years

 

Detailed JD:

A proven foundation in Data Engineering – bachelor's degree preferred, 8 years of experience

Data Streaming & Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS)

Event Driven application design, development, and tuning using Kafka

Strong background in distributed design patterns and critical thinking skills to design end-to-end solutions

Proficiency building and deploying applications to AWS and AZURE cloud platforms

Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases

Experience and comfort working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban)

Exposure to data science functions including AI/ML development is a plus

Excellent communication and influencing skills to facilitate collaboration across technology and business partners without having a direct authority over people

Curious, motivated, can-do attitude, self-directed, proactive, and results oriented
