Experience with Java applications. Experience with Scala a huge plus Need strong verbal communication skills!!   Job Description We are seeking a testing engineer with lead capability who can develop test plans, design test strategy, perform load and performance testing. What you’ll be doing -  Develop and document test code -  Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and QA processes -  Performing load and performance testing   Qualifications **What your background looks like** -  BS in Computer Science or a related field -  3-5+ years of experience as a QA/QE Engineer, SDET or similar role -  Experience with Performance tools (JMeter) -  Strong experience with AWS Services for both batch and online applications -  Strong experience with AWS technologies such as Aurora, EMR, ECS, EFS, Kafka, Docker , Fargate S3 and Lambda server less technology -  Strong Experience with Java/Scala applications -  Demonstrated knowledge of testing one or more of the following: API interfaces, databases/data stores, analytics -  Experience in a Linux environment -  Docker or similar container experience is a plus -  Experience working on large scale distributed systems with relational databases -  Experience debugging and capturing backend failures and network issues -  Excellent written and oral communication skills and analytical skills -  Demonstrated competence and ability to be self-motivated when analyzing problems -  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player -  Ability to learn new frameworks and environments -  Experience with Agile, continuous integration (Jenkins), and dealing with ambiguity -  Adept at asking for help when needed   **Preferred** -  Current knowledge/experience working with Distributed Java AWS applications -  MS in Computer Science           Thanks Palak Technical Recruiter | Empower Professionals ......................................................................................................................................
