Tableau Administrator
Our client is seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to work remotely in the USA, to help manage our growing Tableau services and user base. Our work environment is fast paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. Most of all, we are passionate about delivering innovations that improve the quality of healthcare and the patient experience.
Data and data services are critical to all the work we do, so you will be responsible for the scaling of our Tableau services across an increasingly global user base by implementing best practices in server administration, optimization and monitoring. We have 500+ active users and intend to scale much over the next few years.

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

·5+ years of in-depth experience with design & development of Workbook Dashboards, and Data Sources through Tableau Desktop
· Ability to recommend best practices of development and optimize dashboards.
· Experience with best practices in setting up users, groups and roles
· 3+ years' experience with administering Enterprise Tableau applications
· Hands on Experience on Tableau Architecture for Tableau 9.x/10.x/2018.x etc.
· Experience on Tableau Administration including Install and upgrade in a distributed enterprise environment.
· Advanced knowledge of performance diagnosis and optimization. Be able to analyze system resource utilization, bottlenecks and plan platform capacity sizing.
· Experience with automation and deployment of data sources/workbooks across environment, alerts via scripting.
· Experienced in communicating with Tableau support and resolving issues.
· Experience with Tableau Admin Views.
· Strong knowledge of Tableau Server platform and server-side functionalities.
· Nice to have: Experienced in tabcmd/tsm command-line functions
· Nice to have: Experience and familiarity with performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools/commands (e.g. TabMon, PerfMon, LogShark, VizAlerts etc.)
