Job Description:

Role – Java Full Stack Developer (Contract)

Location – Wilmington, DE, Columbus, OH, Houston, TX, Plano, TX, New Jersey

Day 1 Onsite/ 2-3 Week RTTO/Hybrid

Mandatory Skills Required: Java, Spring, REST API, Microservices, AWS

Required Skills:

BS in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field/experience
7-20 years of professional software engineering experience with Java
Good at writing clean, modular, readable, and testable Java code
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework, a good understanding of REST API principles and best practices
Experience building Microservices
Proficient with CI/CD practices and production deployment
Experience developing in AWS Cloud Platform
Experience with Container (Docker) and Container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Strong problem-solving skills.
High degree of competence with Java software development
High degree of competence with Scala software development

Desired (Good to have) Skills:

Familiarity with basic web application security concepts
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services
Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams
Ability to explain technical solutions to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience writing/maintaining regression tests (using Fitnesse/Cucumber)
Experience and knowledge of Apache Spark
Good software development foundation (i.e., data structures, design patterns & principles)
Good grip on agile software development methodology (e.g., Scrum)
Curious, inquisitive, independent
