Job Description
Senior level development analyst, Java experience required. Container, DevOps, and/or Azure experience is a plus
This consultant will support a 3rd party application, a LIMS system, that will hold and process patient data.
The LIMS product is from Kaligent - and will require enhancements and modifications using Java 8, mainly backend work.
Designs, develops, tests, and maintains full-stack custom software solutions that may cross multiple technologies, platforms, and product owners.
Develops and demonstrates an understanding of user requirements and needs in the context of implementation of the overall software product.
Works as a member of a software development team to perform detailed problem analysis and research, identify options, and propose solutions.
Works from within an Agile Framework, leverages knowledge of best practices in software development like unit, functional, and integration testing, quality assurance, version control systems, and security to ensure that the proposed solutions address user needs.
Applies functional knowledge of full stack software development including containers, relational and non-relational databases, APIs, and user interface development to deliver software solutions to product owners.
Willing to learn and adapt to meet new technological demands. Ensures applications meet functional, technical, and security requirements.
Writes code to meet industry standards that is valid, properly structured, and compatible with specified browsers, devices, operating systems.
Supports current applications, monitors application performance, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement of software infrastructure and its components.
