JD: Technical · Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server in a data warehouse environment and Microsoft BI stack · Experienced with complex T-SQL queries and performance optimization · Independently handle ETL failures, create root cause analysis, and adhere to data availability SLA · Proactively work on reducing frequently occurring issues · Automate manual work and minimize manual intervention · Proactively monitor ETL finish time - handle surge in data volume, poor source data quality, server outages to maintain SLA · Maintain process metrics and identify new metrics based on the business requirements · Excellent written and verbal communication · SQL Server job and process automation, management, and improvements · SQL Server version 2012 - 2017 · Knowledge and experience with best practices and standards for TSQL and SDLC · Development tools/applications (GitHub, TFS, Azure DevOps, RedGate tools, Visual Studio, etc.) · Deep technical Azure platform expertise · Proficiency in Big Data Technologies like o Azure Data bricks o ADLS Gen2 o Azure Data factory o Azure Synapse · Technical Understanding of o Azure Site Recovery o Express Route o Azure VPN gateways o Azure Backup o Azure Network security o Virtualization o Azure Cost Management · Preferred basic understanding with scripting protocols such as PowerShell, Azure CLI's, ARM templates · Preferred understanding of Other Technologies like: o Azure Key Vault o Replication Technologies (Qlik Replicate) o BI Tools (PowerBI * MicroStrategy * Tableau) · Healthcare/Medical/Insurance data experience Non-Technical · Data analysis skills · Agile methodologies/SCRUM · Development documentation · Excellent interpersonal and communications skills · Capable of working independently and in a team · 24x7 support shift schedule
