Description :

Qualifications
6+ years of application development experience.
5+years of experience supporting Front Office operations in an Asset Management/Hedge Fund firm.
Extensive experience using Python including to develop applications and server platforms.
Previous experience in business analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of new and existing investment management applications and processes using the Microsoft .NET Framework, Visual Basic.NET or C# at an expert level.
Experience working with Object-Oriented platforms.
SQL Programming using Postgres, SQL Server and Oracle – Stored procedures, Materialized Views, etc.
Experience building RESTful API interfaces.
Experience with ReactJS or JavaScript UI programming.
Extensive experience working with large amounts of data, including time series data for Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Experience developing software in AWS, using AWS services including AWS Lambda functions, API Gateway, and database services such as DynamoDB, Redshift and/or RDS.
Understanding of software development concepts and methodologies such as OO design, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.
Familiarity with scheduling software such as Autosys.
Experience with and understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), WCF, etc.
Proficient in Web front end tools and languages (such as JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, DevExpress).
Knowledge of Investment Management concepts.
Understanding of investment management industry and the effective use of technology to support Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, etc.
In-depth knowledge of Equity securities and related analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Snowflake database.
Experience in data profiling and analysis.
Ability to take requirements and design solutions that work in an already existing platform.
An individual contributor capable of executing with minimal supervision.
Experience with Git and Jira a plus.
BS Degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics. Advanced degree is a plus.
Additional certifications in investment management/finance (i.e. CFA designation) a plus.
