One of our clients is looking for DAX Administrator Title: DAX Administrator Location: Milpitas, CA, US Job description: - Design and develop deployment solutions for java script, .Net, Mulesoft and ERP applications using enterprise-level automation tools
- Build/ maintain ERP infrastructure
- Develop and follow best practices /methodologies for infrastructure provisioning, application scaling & configuration management
- Engineer systems and tools to support the build, integration and verification of complex software systems spanning multiple hardware platforms, mobile platforms, and cloud-based services
- Work with Information Services delivery team to implement and maintain highly scalable build and release solutions, including continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management, and support for all systems
- Partner closely with Delivery Team to ensure new features and products are delivered to customers seamlessly and efficiently
- Partner with Development and Product Teams to identify issues, driving issue resolution
- Partner with stakeholders in engineering leadership to drive the adoption of application and infrastructure deployment strategies (on-premises and cloud), bringing consistency across all teams
- Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery processes
Requirements - Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering/ Infrastructure/ Administration
- Exceptional and advanced English communication skills with all levels of organization is required (written, verbal, digital, formal presentations)
- The Microsoft Dynamics AX Administrator is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Global AX ERP. This role includes interacting with both Microsoft Dynamics AX IT support staff and business users to understand requirements, evaluating alternative solutions, resolving problems, issues, communicating status and documenting system changes. Relevant experience 7+ years
- Hands-on knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools and methodologies
- Experience with SCM tools (GitHub etc.), Jira, ServiceNow, APM tools (NewRelic etc.)
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Experience in creating requirements specifications based on Architecture/ Design / Detailing of ERP Business Processes
- Experience with any other ERP system, including migration is a plus
- Experience with AWS or other cloud technology is a plus
Core Responsibilities: - Configuring and Maintaining Dynamics AX administrative tasks such as (User Management, Configuration and Deployment) and all related aspects of Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Technical Responsibilities including multi-tiered application support
- Basic AD Administration and overall environment responsibility in multi-instance AX environment
- Design, Develop, Test and Monitor plans for AX security implementation
- Develop, Maintain, and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with best practices for segregation of duties and lead other process improvement initiatives
- Perform Microsoft Dynamics AX Compliance Center configuration, administration, and maintenance
- Management and review of security logs and table permissions framework (TPF)
- Backup/Restore Database on SQL
- Deploy and Configure SSRS and SSAS
- Installing and Configuring SharePoint
- Manage security in the Application Integration Framework as needed
- Installing and Configuring of EP
- Installing and Configuring of DMF tools and other tools
