Under followed is the job description: Position: Business Process Data Analyst Location: Remote Duration: Long term Business Process Data Analyst The Analyst will be part of a team that supports all facets of the mutual fund business with a primary focus on Marketing and Finance data governance and controls. Job Responsibilities: - Coordinate activities with IT and business data owners to identify required data, release requirements and controls associated with mutual fund and institutional data elements.
- Coordinate activities associated with analyzing impact of change requests and enhancements to applications.
- Partner with IT to identify/specify requirements, to assist in business process redesign, and to resolve complex business issues.
- Partner with business data owners and IT during change implementation; includes business requirements gathering, impact assessment and business testing of an application.
- Provide analysis support to collate and assess systems, business process and products information to support Marketing and Finance users, production activities, and business procedural development.
- Serve as liaison in resolving production and business issues, including translating technical language for Marketing and Finance staff and translating business terminology and concepts for IT staff.
- Work with IT and business on overall testing efforts, involved with preparing test strategy and creation of test plans.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing and deployment of changes.
- Lead small to medium size projects that may involve processes, systems, and workflow.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in MIS, Finance or a directly related field.
- 5 – 7 years relevant work experience
- Experience with mutual fund data, intermediate Excels skills and knowledge in SQL is required
- Strong project management skills are required with ability to recognize the importance of tasks and prioritize them
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
