The Data(Ops) Engineer Lead should be very familiar with Azure Data(Ops) Engineering specifically using ADF V2 (for Orchestrating ELT Pipelines & ML Feature Engineering Pipelines), ADLS Gen2 (for Big Data Persistence & Retrieval using Delta Lake), Azure Databricks (for Compute using PySpark and / or Spark SQL), Synapse (for Modeled Data Marts) and SQL Server, at least. Familiarity / Comfort with SDLC Practices on Azure DevOps is preferred, but experiences with SDLC Methodology on any other standard platform like Jira, will also work. Working Knowledge of NoSQL Models like Document, C-Store, Graph would be a big plus. Exposure to Low Level Programming Languages like Python or Java or Scala is preferred, as working with Spark would require such skills. This position will initially be required to build out the Data(Ops) Engineering Framework (100% hands on), but in course of time (~3-6 months), also hire and build out a top class Data(Ops) Engineering Team.
