Performance Engineer Skills/Job Description: Able to handle multiple projects and deliver Ability to Monitor, guide multiple team members Good experience in writing test strategy & test plans Good experience in planning & estimations End to end performance engineering activities Experience in LoadRunner/performance center & JMeter (Web, webservice, True client/oracle protocols must) Monitoring tools AppDynamics, Dynatrace Experience in using Jenkins, Jira & Service now Able to do manual deployments Linux OS & debugging skills Shell scripting a must Monitoring (OS and APM) / Tuning of DBs Ability to write SQL Queries to insert/update data Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal) Should be hands-on experience on Performance Testing Excellent Vugen scripting knowledge on Web services protocols for REST services. Should be good in using custom logic Good Understanding of JSON messages, FHIR formats Experience in scripting API requests with HL7 messaging formats Ability to process huge files containing JSON data and use them as test parameters Hands knowledge of languages like python to do data cleansing Understanding of open source tools like Locust and experience in load generation Working knowledge and experience in APM tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace Basic Linux/Unix skills(ex: listing active processes , file operations , finding file permissions, analyzing startup scripts etc) Basic understanding of Cloud terminologies like EC2 instances , CloudWatch metrics analysis, API gateways and Lambda functions Ability to absorb high level system architectural knowledge , work with minimal supervision from leads and involve in meaningful conversations with Developers, functional testers and architects Good Analytical and Verbal skills
