Role: ServiceNow Analyst (BA)

Location: PA

Duration: Long Term

 

Job Description:

 

  • Good understanding of ITIL & ITSM concepts (ITIL certified) along with 5+ years of hands on experience working in the ServiceNow Platform in an Analyst role
  • Understand the overall business & process flow pertaining to the specific domain/platform/application in SNOW.
  • Need to have technical knowledge and mindset to work on technical stories and coordinate with the development and other technical teams
  • Good documentation skill in writing Business Requirements, Functional Requirement, Stories and Technical Requirements
  • Assists in gathering core configuration requirements, translate these into design model and manage the overall implementation process in cooperation with developers
  • Will be responsible for managing incident, problem, and task queue
  • Act as a liaison and collaborate with business and information technology resources to determine effective solutions.
  • Map out relevant business users/stakeholders, their involvement in the processes and interactions with the solution.
  • Apply requirements planning, elicitation, documentation, analysis, communication, validation, and management practices effectively.
  • Help team in design, test, UAT and transition Service Management solutions in SNow
  • Work with the Client Project and Program manager on overall scheduling of various work streams.
  • Help elicit & manage (identification and mitigation) the risks and issues associated with the requirements and functional solution.
  • Interpersonal skills and effective communication to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (clients and internal team members)
  • Strong analytical skills are needed to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts
  • Provide leadership to the teams in aligning to the SDLC methodology selected for the project and coach/mentor as required.
  • Manage external and internal resources and ensure quality/acceptance of deliverables.
  • Plan direct and coordinate all aspects of business and systems analysis projects.
  • Facilitation skills to assist gathering requirements and provide training to clients and internal team members
  • Guide teams with domain and subject matter expertise knowledge.
  • Operate with independent authority and good judgement to resolve domain issues that pertain to the business applications under their area of responsibility.
