Job Description
part of a collaboration and messaging team, this role will support the transformation our on premise SharePoint 2013 environment to SharePoint Online. This role will work with the SharePoint Online migration project team to meet the goal of migrating thousands of legacy SharePoint 2013 sites to SharePoint online. This requires providing superior service by providing consulting, technical guideance and support for SharePoint ecosystem to our end users and other support teams which includes connected services such as Teams and third party integrations and apps.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze business requirements and problems and drive research to design quality technical solutions.
- Provide business solution/process consulting including advising on best practices for using SharePoint and connected/iAsntegrated technologies.
- Help manage the SharePoint Online life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting the SharePoint ecosystem, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online and Office Online.
- Assist with designing, creating and implementing custom web parts and SPfx solutions, workflows and PowerApps.
- Design custom search center.
- Design Azure Dev Ops pipelines using consistent and best practice methodologies.
- Handle complex problems independently and demonstrates analytical thinking.
- Make judgements and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of data.
- Analyze system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.
- Make recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code.
- May lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
- May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities.
- Remains current with new technologies.
- Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
- Participate in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
- Provide technical advice and assist in solving programming problems.
- Write and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
- Review test results; documents test activities, and records remedial actions.
- Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of a H.S. diploma and three (3) years of relevant experience in a technical helpdesk or other technical support environment required or combination or education, training and experience. B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or related degree preferred.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- May work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends.
- Experience with Spark Forms
- Advanced experience and technical knowledge of the following required:
- Microsoft 365 platform including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Office Onine, Exchange Online
- Powershell including PnP and MGGraph SDK
- C#
- Graph API
- SPFX - Solutions and Web Parts
- CSS/HTML
- JavaScript
- SharePoint 2013
- Excellent customer services skills
- Microsoft Office versions 2016+
- Microsoft Power Platform - Power Automate, Power Apps
- Web page authoring
- SharePoint Online best practices
- Developer tools: PowerApps - Canvass Apps, Visual Studio, Fluent UI, Azure DevOps, GitHub
