Title:Lead Java/Spring Boot/Kafka Developer

Location:Columbus, OH (Remote)

Duration:6-12 Months

 

Lead Backend Java Developer with Kafka

•            Strong knowledge of Spring Boot (2.3 or higher) and Spring Security (5.xpreferred), and an understanding of Oauth and JWT.

•            Understanding of MyBatis, JDBC and SQL

•            Experience working with and being able to deploy applications to Tomcat

•            Working knowledge of Maven and Docker

•            Understanding of Red Hat OpenShift platform would be preferred

•            Understanding of Kafka platform, including event streaming, topic creation andconfiguration, and Spring Boot integration with Kafka

•            Hands on experience writing custom producers and consumers using Java andSpring Boot

•            Preferred â€" hands on experience with Confluent Cloud

•            Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

•            Preferred: Hands on experience with developing CI pipelines using Gitlab CI,and deployments using Helm and OpenShift
