Data Quality & Compliance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provides Data Management principals and tenant guidance and insight across Technology teams
• Organize and lead initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
• Provides guidance on development and implementation of data quality rules, monitoring of data quality, and helps drive data analysis, data quality improvement and issue resolution
• Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
• Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
• Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
• Provides guidance on development and implementation of data quality rules, monitoring of data quality, and helps drive data analysis, data quality improvement and issue resolution
• Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
• Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
• Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
• Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned

Requirements:
• Understanding of Data Management fundamentals, including metadata, data quality, and data governance
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to collect, organize, and analyze information
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to work in person, virtually, and in a globally-staffed environment
• Able to influence, lead, and communicate effectively across technology peers, business units, managers and senior leadership
• Able to bridge gap between technology and business and clearly articulate concepts, requirements, and solutions
• Adept at handling multiple tasks and adapt to daily changing requirements

Desired skills
• 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience
• Strong business analysis and project management experience
• Experience creating metadata and data quality artifacts
• Consumer Lending Business Process Knowledge
• Relational database, SQL & No-SQL expertise
• Any programming skills like Java, Scala
