Role : Data Engineer with TDM , Data Masking Location : Cincinnati, OH / Remote Key Skills : Data Masking, TDM, Python JD : - Around 8-10 years of overall experience in Data Management covering Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Governance, etc
- 3-4 years of practical experience working on large scale, multi-year data masking programs implementing data obfuscation solutions
- Drive data obfuscation architecture design and development for consistent data masking
- Hands-on experience in one or more data masking technologies such Informatica, Delphix and IBM Optim. Experience is IBM Optim is preferable
- Skills in programming languages such as Python, Lua, etc is required
- Experience in the Implementation of Test Data Management
- Experience in the Data Discovery, Data Sub-setting and Persistent Data masking
- Experience in the Compliance setup like PII, PCI and GDPR.
- Experience working with data architecture and application teams to define data privacy fields and data masking requirements
- Experience working with various databases such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server
- Understand database models and designs including referential integrity, application enforced integrity, data dependencies between applications, sub setting, etc.
- Good understanding of database validations, constraints, syntax and data types
- Document data obfuscation process flows, prepare dependency charts and determine the right lineage between business and IT needs
- Develop detailed solutions for database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, DB2 etc.)
- Map sensitive data elements with proper data masking algorithms
- Identify, develop and deploy Test Data Management reusable components as appropriate
- Responsible for collaborating with the project team members to produce weekly status report, and weekly project log consisting of issues, risks, action items, and progress against planned activities for a given week
- Coordinate daily planning and status check-in meetings with client stakeholders where project activities, issues, risks and challenges are reviewed
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to business and technology stakeholders
- Proficient working in an agile environment and in an onsite-offshore model
