Data Engineering Support 

Remote

Responsibilities –

•            Get Knowledge Transition of Data Engineering (DE) pipelines incl code, documentation from Dev Team

•            Work on onboarding new Data Engineering pipelines

•            Deploy DE pipelines in production environment

•            Create SOPs for pipeline onboarding, pipeline deployment and support

•            Trigger pipelines for feature engineering, inferencing and model training

•            Provide pipeline Production Support incl trouble shooting, bug fixes and do RCA

•            Provide data dumps of pipeline data

•            Write production-ready code that is easily testable, understood by other developers and accounts for edge cases and errors

•            Write unit tests as well as higher level tests to handle expected edge cases and errors gracefully, as well as happy paths

•            Use bug tracking, code review, version control and other tools to organize and deliver work

•            Participate in scrum calls and agile ceremonies, and effectively communicate work progress, issues and dependencies.

 

Qualification & Experience –

1-4 years of experience in deploying, productionizing and supporting Data Engineering Pipelines

Experience in Data Engineering to measure and optimize pipeline performance

Good programming expertise in Python, SQL

Experience in cloud services like AWS (Redshift, EC2, S3, EMR) or Azure

Experience in production operation support.
