Role: Electrical Engineer
Location: – Florence, SC
Type: Contract Job Description: • Must possess at least a bachelor's or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of work experience in an Electrical Engineering field.
• In the alternative, at least a master's or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering and at least three years of work experience in an Electrical Engineering field would be acceptable.
• Responsible for supporting electrical system design and integration activities in the Company's Engineering department.
• Responsible for wiring diagram creation and maintenance, as well as controller and field wiring design.
• Utilize knowledge of power components, distribution and protection, and controls theory and application.
• Provide product support for a variety of electronic elevator components and electrical systems.
• working knowledge of power distribution, protection, and control systems.
• experience with electrical codes and standards, understanding of power components, distribution and protection, controls theory and application
• Electrical engineering background with wiring diagrams, system analysis, motor and control applications.
• experience with ECAD tools such as Cadence, PSpice, ViewLogic, AutoCAD, E3.
• experience working across disciplines with mechanical engineers, software engineers, manufacturing personnel, and field personnel.
• understanding of PCB assembly and other manufacturing processes; and experience with test and measurement equipment.
