Job Description

Expertise in designing solution using ServiceNow EventManagement application and other applications of ITOM.

Expertise to install, configure and integrate softwareproducts with ServiceNow.

Experience in  IT Tools migration and Integration

Good Knowledge on automation using scripting.

 

Must haves experience in:

1)           Event Configuration â€" event setup(event processing, event rules, eventfilter, event thresholds and operator workspace), Event management process flowand connectors.

2)           Alerts and tasks â€" Alert definitions, process flow, grouping, alertintelligence and impact profile tasks.

3)           Event Sourcing experience with different 3rd party tool and monitors.

 

Choose the integration method based on the Netcoolconfiguration and privilege given for the integration

Ownership on technical implementations and develop code forintegration (If needed)

Take ownership of event message enhancement which willforward to ServiceNow event table

Configuring alert notification in ServiceNow

Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams tounderstand all layers of the technology stacks that input into event managementand  service maps.

 

Expertise in designing solutions and implementing EnterpriseMonitoring tools for Server, Network and APM.

Experience in monitoring real-time performance andavailability from a business perspective, SLA Management, end-user management,system availability management, problem isolation and custom reporting and dashboarding.

 

Define, at an architectural and design level of detail,technical solutions aligned and ServiceNow Implementation Best Practices onevent management

Understand customer requirements, study the currentconfiguration in Netcool and translate to solutions, and communicate to clients

Make sure 100% event configured in Netcool is migrated toServiceNow event manager by testing all event rule configuration with sampleerrors

Configure additional rule other than Netcool rules inServiceNow environment to achieve 100% proactiveness in the event correlations.

Assist the internal team (Infra support team) to configurethe required details in the Netcool server.

Build and maintain the Event Management console connectingtechnology alerts to service maps
