• Maintenance of the Oracle databases to include installs, upgrades, patches, tuning and backups.
• Supporting on Oracle 11g and 12c with hands-on experience in DB upgrade experience.
• Experience in Oracle database single instance and RAC both.
• Ability to setup DB profiles and user management.
• Should have experience in management and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures.
• Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
• Report incidents and provide periodic status reports.
• Capacity to stay up to date with the latest in Oracle technology products and versions.
• Work closely with all others teams including IT Teams in a manner that yields to a full understanding of all parties within the organization.
• Create new DB Production and Non-Production environments.
• Collaborate with software developers to achieve high performance from their database.
• Performs other duties as assigned e.g. Oracle SRs,OEM management.
• Have knowledge on SQL Server is added advantage.
