UST® is looking for an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to work with one of the leading financial services organization in the US. The ideal candidate must possess strong background on DevOps in a cloud (GCP) environment. The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team. Responsibilities: Participate in release cycles of our offerings, deploying code to nonprod and production environments, integrating with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) tools, monitoring, and change management Develop and implement appropriate operational procedures to meet timely and high-quality deliverables Establish, monitor, and report on operation/production issues, business improvement opportunities, and operational achievements You will develop standard methodologies and processes to maximize operational output/efficiency to support business goals Respond to and prevent application incidents/outages Requirements: 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related professional experience Certification in GCP Cloud (Professional Architect preferred) Experience in CI/CD pipeline tools like Github, Jenkins, Maven Experience in Terraform Scripting. Experience deploying and managing infrastructure on public clouds (GCP) - Creating Docker Images and containers. Experience working on Kubernetes, Dataproc/Hadoop or other large-scale cluster management systems Experience with PagerDuty, ServiceNow or other IT Service Management/Alerting platforms Knowledge of Spark, Asymmetric/Symmetric Encryption, Tokenization Experience in Linux environments (CentOS). Demonstrated ability to script around repeatable tasks Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately troubleshoot system issues. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders. A real passion for and the ability to learn new technologies
