Job Description

 

Sr. Jira Administrator

 

What you'll be doing:

Support JIRA and Confluence Data Center administration and implementation. Need someone who understands Jira APIs and how to manipulate them including creation and management of complex custom projects, created comprehensive workflows (with conditions, validators, and triggered post functions), security schemes, custom fields, dashboards, and reports configurations, and can also test. 

Optimize the JIRA Data Center by assisting with a post consolidation cleanup of users, group permissions, project permissions, and projects.

Perform requirements gathering, business process workflows, and process improvement for JIRA/Confluence workflows and processes in place, identifying where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.

Create and maintain detailed technical and user facing documentation

 

Jira API administration and advanced workflow automation

Resolve issues as they arise with JIRA Projects and Confluence in coordination with a Teladoc JIRA admin team and JIRA hosting partner team

 

What you'll need:

At least 1-2 years of Jira administration / configuration experience

Experience with complex Jira Integrations

Experience documenting processes

Experience with Jira Automation using the Jira Workflow Toolbox, JMWE (Jira Miscellaneous Workflow Extensions), JSU Automation, and ScriptRunner scripts using behaviors, listeners, and scripted fields

 Experience using the Jira API

Experience administering JIRA both on-prem and cloud environments building customized workflows, permission schemes, and Script Runner scripting

Experience with JQL(JIRA Query Language)

Knowledge of  Kanban

Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Team player with a positive attitude, good work ethic, and the ability to work with diverse teams across different time zones over video chat, instant message and email

Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities

Certified Professional in Atlassian Suite
