A Test/QA Analyst Lead is responsible for the testing phase of the
production process to ensure that final products meet the company
standards. Duties include identifying whether products are functional,
reliable and meet the end user's expectations.
Role & Responsibilities:
Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring
that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
Act as key
point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services
and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
Lead and
mentor QA team members, as well as manage off-shore testers.
Develop
and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and
automated).
Design and implement testing plans and testing summaries
for engagements
Process product reviews and inform the development team
of defects and errors
Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings
from test results to the development team
Monitor efforts to resolve
product issues and track progress
Ensure that the final product
satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations
Spot
areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency
Manage and
track the review and approval of documents through the project.
Ensure
that all documents are accurate, consistent with internal style
guidelines, and consistent with regard to clarity, flow, organization,
completeness, accuracy, readability, and/or appropriateness.
Serving as
a channel between the internal-external customers and the software
development team through which requirements flow
Communicating and
collaborating proactively with external and internal customers to
analyze information needs and functional requirements and delivering Use
Cases
Conferring with project managers and system architects to
understand concepts and enforce enterprise-wide requirements definition
and management systems.
Duties:
Defining, documenting, and executing
customer business QA/Testing functions and processes
Identifying,
defining and documenting testing/QA needs and objectives, current
operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements and
levels of systems access after consulting with functional unit
management and personnel
Analyzing the requirements for new
functionality to ensure they are testable
Ensuring the system
functionality is perfect as per the requirements provided
Participating
in user acceptance testing and undertaking the functionality testing of
new code
Assisting technically in training and coaching professional
and technical staff where appropriate
Developing a training curriculum
and conducting formal training sessions covering assigned testing
systems module
Acting as a QA team lead on designated projects or
assignments and providing work direction to one or more technical or
clerical staff. Testing workshop organization and facilitation
Minimum
Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
Pharmaceutical
business awareness/business domain knowledge
In depth knowledge of
master data management processes, system and intergrations.
Strong
knowledge of MDM systems including Reltio, Informatica, Veeva Network
and/or Commercial Data Warehousing (CDH) systems including Snowflake,
Azure, Redshift.
7+ years of Testing Leadership experience
Experience
in managing off-shore testing resources
In Depth knowledge of Computer
system lifecycle and validation.
Familiarity with standard concepts,
practices, and procedures within Commercial Pharma Industry
Strong
verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to set and
achieve stretch goals quickly, while possessing strong people skills
4-year undergraduate or more advanced degree
Strong computer skills
including Microsoft Visio, Project, PowerPoint and Excel as well as
collaboration tools such as SmartSheet, JIRA, and SharePoint.
