Enterprise Data Modeler/Architect

Need 11+ years exp. consultant

Job Title: Enterprise Data Modeler/Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities

Work with team on client engagements that could either be delivered from the offices or at the client locations
Working with the Business Units to identify the data requirements
Strong Data Modeling experience and knowledge (Relational & Dimensional)
Implement the identified requirement in the conceptual, logical, and physical/schema models
Create mapping documents showing data movement, in partnership with the sourcing system or consuming system developers
Support technical leaders and architects in developing solution designs and proofs of concept
Demonstrate a demeanor of “just do it” and appetite for learning

Qualifications/Minimum qualifications

Masters or Undergraduate in the either of the following disciplines: Computer Science/Data Analytics/Information Systems/Business Analytics/Supply Chain Analytics
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to balance team and client discussions.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Enterprise Data Modeling (Third Normal Form/3NF) including the managing of standardized Metadata conventions
Experience with Enterprise Data Modeling, Logical Data Modeling, or Conceptual Data Modeling
Strong experience with designing XML Schemas (XSDs)
Strong experience with XML modeling tools like XMLSpy • Experience with logical modeling tools (e.g. Erwin)
Experience working with Finance and Supply Chain(preferably) business areas to translate their business data needs and data gaps
Experience with cloud data technologies such as Azure data factory, Azure storage, Azure data lake storage, Azure data bricks etc
Preferably exp. with Consumer Packaged goods
