Azure Data Engineer

Job Title: Azure Data Engineers:

Location: Dallas TX (Remote till Covid19)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

Provide on-going support of the existing production and disaster recovery infrastructure
Ensure all facets of the production infrastructure are available and healthy on a 24×7 basis
Respond to alerts and take corrective action to ensure high-availability of our production environments
Assist in Setting up and supporting the network, development, and QA environments

Required Skills and Experience:

Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or programming related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 4-5 years of work experience
2+ years of Azure/AWS/GCP Cloud experience (preferably Azure)
In depth Knowledge of a wide range of Azure/AWS/GCP services, strong ability to design high availability infrastructure based on the application requirements
Strong understanding and hands experience in deploying, troubleshooting issues with Compute, Networking, Storage on Azure/AWS/GCP
Strong Experience in designing & implementing security in Azure/AWS/GCP (Security Groups, Active Directory etc.)
Working experience of Azure/AWS/GCP Monitoring & Management
Knowledge of scripting and automation is preferred
Strong Linux Administration skills
Strong Experience in designing & implementing
Possess a good understanding of Internet based technologies (DNS, Security, IP Routing, SSH, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, Email Routing, etc.)
