Urgent need Big Data Engineer @Dallas, TX

Role: Big Data Engineer 

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration- 6 months contract C2C 

Need 7+ years experience

• Big Data Engineer 
• Start date as soon as possible 
• Remote until August 30th, then on-site 3 days a week
• Must have excellent communication skills

Data Engineer:

As part of the Business Intelligence team , you will be architecting and delivering complex statistical, analytical, and transformational solutions on structured & un-structured data to Research Team. The solutions you will work on will include cloud and hybrid environments that will require a broad and deep stack of data engineering & analytical platforms. You will be using core cloud  & advanced analytics tools, hadoop, spark, events streaming platforms, statistical tools, advanced algorithm and other data management related technologies.

Position Requirements

·         4 years of experience in data & analytics architectures and technologies such Data Lake, Advanced Analytics, & modern cloud computing methods & practices.

·         Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.

·         Experience with the Big Data, Data Analytics and Advanced Analytics ecosystem, and how Apache Spark fits into this.

·         Strong technical ability in a data-focused programming language, such as Python or R.

·         Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and experience in proper usage with applications.

·         Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging Apache Spark™ and other big data solutions.

·         Experience handling image & sound data-based algorithms using custom data models and algorithms.

·         Experience developing software solutions to solve complex research problems

·         Experience with cloud service platform Azure , GCP, AWS.

·         Familiar with data ETL pipeline, distributed system with fast and large-scale data.
