Position: Project Manager

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: EOY – Extension for Long Term

Rate: $75/Hr. on C2C

 

               

Required Skills

• 10+ years Program/Delivery Manager expertise

• 1+ year expertise within SAP (basis and/or Hana); understanding of how SAP products work as hosted on prem v cloud environment

• Prior experience leading at least 1 global implementation (ERP system, SAP preferred, or similar scope) • Experience with large scale implementation of Applications/Infrastructure within cloud environment (moving from on prem to cloud)

• Proven project expertise in driving strategic planning across multiple IT components (preferably emerging technology within SAP and cloud)

• Knowledge of Azure or AWS from a cloud delivery/migration point of view

• Comfortable working with multiple vendors to drive and achieve success

• Expertise within forecasting, delivery execution, timeline creation, etc

• Comfortable working with individuals/teams on a global scale

• Excellent written and verbal communication

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
• You will be involved in a global program that is upgrading from SAP basis to SAP 4 Hana.
• This role will fall within the next generation SAP platform and we are looking for someone to manage the program from three key overarching areas: Environment, Release, Cut Over.
• There are individuals at each area managing the individual efforts, but we are looking for someone to manage the three areas as a whole and ensure that when the plan is set to transition to another team for execution, there are no delays or unforeseen issues.
• This is a global delivery manager role so a resource will need to be comfortable working in a challenging and dynamic environment filled with multiple vendors, internal/external employees, and technology stack.
• A successful candidate should be able to help plan, forecast, organize and foresee issues that may arise with each individual key area before execution. Someone who understands SAP components and how they interact within a cloud environment will be most successful.
