Role: Risk Manager(Khatib/Harshit)
Responsibilities
· Develop an understanding of the Banks’ business models and familiarity with technology services provided by the affiliate technology organization, as well as familiarity with active technology risk initiatives and their impact to each Bank
· Provide oversight of the technology change implementation program, including periodic control assessments and monitoring of metrics; recommend program enhancements as needed
· Provide oversight and risk management of ongoing changes related to assets that impact the U.S. Banks, ensuring accurate risk assessment and due diligence based on level of risk
· Oversee remediation program efforts related to the change management process
· Assist with root cause analysis of change-related technology incidents and determination of impact to the Banks
· Participate in the annual Technology Risk and Control Self-Assessment to assess controls and identify areas of inherent and residual risk
· Participate in technology and governance and risk forums to represent Bank interests
· Assist with preparation of responses to technology–related regulatory requests
Required Skills
· 7-10 years of prior experience in financial or banking services in a change management or software development related role
· Knowledge of the FFIEC IT Handbooks, and related laws and regulations including OCC Heightened Standards for Large Banks, 12 CFR 30 Safety and Soundness Standards
· One or more Industry Certifications (e.g. CISM/CISA/CRISC)
· Practical knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile, and knowledge of DevOps
· Sound understanding of risk assessment methodologies, internal controls and industry technology risk management frameworks
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems independently and drive tasks to completion
· Advanced Excel skills, including data import, pivot tables, lookups and data analysis.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize complex information clearly for senior technical and non-technical audiences
· High level of attention to detail and focus on precision
· Good interpersonal skills, with an ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships
· High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity
Desired Skills
· Prior experience working in a large bank
· Familiarity with banking principles including capital adequacy, stress testing, and liquidity risk
· Familiarity with banking products including securitized loans, mortgages, securities-based lending, high net worth lending and deposits
Educational Qualification
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Economics, or Finance
