Technical – Must Have Skills
· Experience in architecting and designing cloud solutions based on industry standards using preferably Azure ( if its PEGA SA we use AWS) IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
· Experience in Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability.
· Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
· Knowledge of one or more programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, SQL, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, PERL, C++, etc.
· Knowledge with configuration management and automation tools such as preferably Azure DevOps, Ansible, Puppet, Octopus, Chef, Salt, etc.
· Delivered projects or initiatives using common methodologies especially SAFe Agile but also Waterfall, Iterative etc.
· Achieved one or more of the typical Solution Architecture certifications e.g. Microsoft, MS Azure Certification, TOGAF, AWS Cloud Certified, Pivotal, CISSIP, Zachman, ITIL, Cisco, (ISC)2, CEH, SAFe, PMI, and SAP etc.
· Ability to provide guidance across multiple domain as part of shared architect for multiple projects.
Technical – Nice to Have Skills
Non-Technical Skills
· Fluent English skills in speech and writing.
· Communicative personality.
· Self-supporting and independent attitude.
· Be comfortable with ambiguity and work to reduce this ambiguity wherever possible within all work output
o Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Economics
o A minimum of 10+ years overall IT industry experience
o A minimum of 3+ years in a solution or technical architect role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms
o Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using (Azure) IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
o Experience with any claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, JIT, and/or RBAC / Ping etc.
o Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
