Data Analyst with Insurance Domain (10+ years )

Roles & Responsibilities: The Business Data analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirement & technical specifications related to designing and implementing the reporting and analytics architectures. The BDA formulates objectives based on both user and technical needs and obtains a good understanding of applicable business systems, data warehousing concepts, usability concepts, and industry requirements. Plays a user facing, combined functional and technical role in analytics, application development, and data integration by working collaboratively with business units and technical teams.

• Obtain and understand business requirements and ensure those requirements are adhered to Insurance Data Architecture.

• Co-ordinate with Customer and technical team.

• Good understanding of data management domain & able to handle small project if required.

Key skills and experience Must

• 10+ years of IT experience in business solution, requirement gathering, gap analysis, use case creation

• At least 5+ years demonstrated expertise in BDA work for Insurance industry.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with general direction

• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels to understand requirements • Ability to establish and achieve goals and maintain time lines

• Knowledge of writing SQL.

• Knowledge of at least one Database, ETL and BI tool.

• Able to quickly adapt the business domain understanding.

• Highlighting Risks and issues that could impact project delivery

• Exposure to Data Modelling Overview is sufficient, not a must

• Ability to effectively function in a cross team’s environment

• Exposure to any cloud platform.

• Understanding of Insurance domain
