Responsibilities:
• Experience with Storage and Backup systems (SAN, NAS, DAS, Tape Libraries, Backup Appliances) as Sr. Storage & Backup Administrator/ SME in last 6 years • Experience in providing Level 3 (expert level) support on at least two different vendor Storage systems (IBM /HP/ NetApp/ Dell EMC) • Experience in Architecting and Implementation of Storage & Backup solutions • Experience in troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose storage and backup system problems; documents system events to ensure continuous services uptime • Perform system installation and troubleshooting to normalize the impacted services • Proven experience in Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Management including Disaster Recovery Drills towards process optimization and assurance • Proven experience & sound knowledge on Clustering and High Availability architecture including Data Tiering and Data Replication management (On-prem & Cloud) • Proven experience on the storage consolidation and data migration, both array-based and host-based (non-array) based. • Experience in development and enforcement of Data Management, Archiving and RBAC Policies • Experience with storage virtualization and quota management. LUN provisioning and mapping to UNIX, Windows and Linux servers (Physical/ Virtual) • Experience in capacity planning & forecasting and performance monitoring of storage subsystems. • Knowledge and experience of operational monitoring and management tools (e.g. Solarwinds, Zabbix, Grafana/Graphite, Nagios, etc.). • Intermediate knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems • Experience • Experience in firmware upgrade, configuration management & troubleshooting mirrors, Vaults, and performance optimization • In-depth knowledge on troubleshooting CIFS & NFS share, ISCSI and FC SAN environment. • Experience in configuring business copy and Continous Access in Storage environment • Experience in Designing, Configuring and troubleshooting Fabric environment constituting Brocade, Mc Data and Cisco switches. • Expertise in Backup solutions including backup software and hardware infrastructure • Sound knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Backup processes and data management policies • Working knowledge on IBM, HP, DELL EMC, NetApp storage along with CISCO and Brocade SAN Switches • Experience on cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) based storage & Backup solution like NetApp CVO, Azure ASR, Veritas CloudCatalyst / Cloudpoint is an advantage
