Title: BI Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-4+ month contract

Start Date: ASAP

Interview Process: 1 Interview – Microsoft Teams

 

Top 3 skills required:

·         Business experience (Supply Chain & Quality)

·         Power BI

·         SQL

·         Alteryx

 

Top 3 desired skills:

·         Any experience with MS applications (Power Apps, SSIS, SSRS, etc.)

·         Code Python or R

·         Data Science background

·         ETL

·         Visual Basic

 

Project/Day-to-Day Work:

·         Expanding what they do in BI and analytics in the org.

·         Carbon copy of what we got out of a previous candidate. Has the skillset of where he has worked for larger companies as a BI Analyst, looking for 2 more of those. Don't have a contract timeframe but likely 3-4+ months if not more.

·         Has supply chain experience, someone with experience in quality (product quality, assessing warranty agreements, quality metrics, etc.)—maybe more of an engineering background.

·         Corp finance or supply chain operations (for one of the candidates).

·         Would want to have someone who has the BI and analytics for:

o   Power BI

o   Alteryx

o   SQL (pulling data from large data sets)

·         One large project to centralize all reporting and then provide automation aspect.

·         Getting data manually right now and automating process to retrieve data.

·         DOES NOT WANT SOFTWARE ENGINEER, DATA ENGINEER, BI ENGINEER that doesn't understand business side.

·         Can work independently, add value, and take initiative.
