Position : Cloud Architect/ Cloud Engineer
Location : Phoenix, AZ
Type : 6 months
Job Description:
- Professional Experience in Azure based solutioning. Highly desired to have experience creating and supporting Data related solutions utilizing both ETL and warehousing Azure native capabilities.
- Strong Automation experience using Infra-as-Code industry techstacks i.e. Terraform, ARM, Chef/Puppet.
- Desired â€" Familiarity and/or previous experience designing ETL / ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Sql/Synapse, and Azure Data Lake.
- Desired â€" Guiding implementation of DevOps processes using Azure DevOps. Automating CI/CD and release management ELT code base written in Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- Looking for Data Lake, we primarily need an Architect and DevOps practitioner on top of Azure, but does have experience with data processing technologies, i.e. Python, ADR, Azure Sql.
Cloud architect:
- As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be on the forefront of our customer's transformation to cloud-based architectures.
- The Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for the design and implementation of efficient applications and services for cloud platforms like Windows Azure and AWS.
- This is a technical customer-facing role that will be accountable for the end-to-end customer cloud implementation and deployment experience.
- Abilities to think creatively, design solutions, and interact with customers.
- Technical, management and consulting skills by participating in large projects and benefiting from the vast knowledge of your teammates.
Cloud engineer:
- Automation Engineer will be responsible for creating infrastructure designs and guiding the development and implementation of cloud applications, systems and automated processes. The candidate will need to be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
- Scripting (BASH, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.) and building required automation (using standard technologies such as Puppet, Chef) and tools
- Serving as a hands-on subject matter expert for DevOps and Automation in an AWS infrastructure environment
- Leading and contributing to the development, maintenance, and usage of deployment and task automation (OS, database services, virtual networks, or other platform services)
- Participating on fast-paced DevOps and SysOps Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes
- Working directly with architects and developers to create supportable designs and debug problems
- Developing cloud infrastructure designs and implementations and guiding the process from development to operations
- Making decisions on problem resolutions in critical down time situations when escalation is impractical
- Creating and delivering knowledge sharing presentations and documentation to developers and operations teams (Document system diagrams, run books, and procedures, etc.)
