Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Full-Stack .NET Engineer, who will be responsible for maintaining, and supporting a variety of software applications ranging from APIs to front-end ASP.NET web applications. This position requires a mastery of Microsoft development tools and technologies for Web UIs and SQL Server back-end.  Successful candidates will be joining a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment where they will be a key player with technical development responsibilities. A candidate for this position will be a self-starter who values their work and that of their team members, with a commitment to collaborative problem solving, and maintainable, testable code.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS
•    6+ year of Full Stack .NET Web development experience with C# / .NET4.x / MVC / WebAPI
•    Strong experience creating and consuming web services with Javascript, jQuery, JSON
•    Strong experience in JavaScript/jQuery web development, HTML/CSS
•    Strong experience unit testing and integration testing.
•    Experience with Responsive web UI design
•    Experience developing in an Agile environment
•    Experience writing SQL code, stored procedures, complex queries
•    Experience with Git as a source code control provider
•    Excellent verbal communication skills
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 
DESIRED SKILLS
•    AWS development experience
•    Python scripting experience
•    Experience with Add-In Express, WiX Toolset for building Office Add-Ins
•    Experience with COM development
 
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Maintain and enhance web apps, back-end services & data stores using a tech stack of C#, ASP.NET (MVC and some Web Forms), ASP.NET WebAPI, and SQL Server
•    Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
•    Work collaboratively with the team during sprints to ensure technical obstacles are removed and deliverables are achieved
•    Support implementation of AWS services as individual pieces of .NET functionality are re-platformed within AWS
•    Coordinate with business analysts/QA team to troubleshoot and debug issues, initiate testing, and ensure testing is completed successfully for website, API services, and SQL Server database components
•    Propose optimizations to current code to improve maintainability and test-ability
•    Improve user interactions on web pages
•    Enhance and optimize performance for API services
•    Modify database tables, indexes, stored procedures and perform advanced queries to troubleshoot data issues
•    Ensure cross-device & cross-browser support and responsiveness for web UI implementations
•    Build new, and update existing, unit tests
•    Actively participate in an experienced development team using agile development practices
