JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Role: Pega Lead System Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills:

· Experience implementing Pega Insurance Framework is a plus.

· 5 + years of experience with Pega PRPC v.6.x/7.x/8.x

· A minimum of 6 years’ experience in software application development and maintenance required with web development experience which includes:

o Ability to effectively collaborate with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise.

o Have a working knowledge of Web Services, Scripting and Automation.

o Ability to understand and analyze improvement areas which can make the tasks of the end-users easy, proposing the solution changes to client.

o Strong ability to juggle many competing priorities.

o Extensive Hands-on experience on UIs, Integrations (REST/SOAP/SQL etc), Agents, Declarative Rules, etc. a plus.

o Passion for designing and developing modern web solutions.

o Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions.

o Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines.

o Considerable experience developing/supporting enterprise web applications.

o Experience with object-oriented programming, design concepts, and frameworks e.g. Java, .NET

o Execute systems test plans to ensure fail safe integration of a project into a production environment.

o Strong foundation in System Development Lifecycle principles.

Desired Skills:

· Holding a Pega Senior System Architect or Pega Lead System Architect certification is preferred.

· Knowledge of PUI and PBI

· College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Business Administration or related field preferred

· Excess and Surplus, or Property Casualty insurance experience preferred, but not required.
