Job Title : Mobile Developer
Location : Montvalle (NJ), Chicago or Dallas
JD for Mobile Developer (3-5 years experience)
Here are the primary responsibilities on MarketEDGE:
· Set up
· Setup KPMG Mac for development
· Setup MarketEDGE code on the Mac
· Need to be aware of old versus new Xcode and potential compatibility issues
· Development
· Create development build
· Side-load and support the offshore dev team to verify application changes on mobile versions. Hold sessions with offshore via screen share. As the offshore team does not have emulators, this is the main responsibility.
The expectation is that there are no changes required on the mobile side; however, if there are mobile specific issues, they need to be resolved through all development sprints. We have seen the application to work well on emulators/browsers but on development machines but not on the mobile devices.
· Deployments
· Create IPAs and work with mobility team for deployments to QA, UAT, Prod.
· Update certificate changes
· Other responsibilities
· The Market EDGE application has a global version. Currently, the application has certificate issues that are causing problem with the installation.
· Application updates
· Upgrade iOS app using the latest Xcode version (MarketEDGE uses an older version of Xcode)
· Some of the methods used in wrapper are deprecated, developer can upgrade these deprecated methods so it does not cause issues in future.
