Job: Java with Loan IQ
The start date is ASAP
Duration is 12 months
Location: NYC but role is remote until Post Covid
Position Description:
As part of strategy to design and implement solutions to adhere with industry wide LIBOR to SOFR migration project, the Technology team is looking for Senior Java Developer to join a technologically advanced in supporting Loan IQ application team.
Candidate will interface on a regular basis with other teams including other internal IT teams across Wealth Management, BA team, QA team, and offshore development team. The candidate must have good communication skills and be able work with both users and lead IT team members in a highly collaborative team environment. To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities and proprietary system builds.
Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:
· Implement and develop core Java applications as well as multi-tiered Java EE-style applications
· Integrate Loan IQ with related technologies, including Spring, Oracle, and other firm proprietary software
· Perform critical technical analysis, code in Loan IQ SDK, and ensure that deliverables are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
· Candidate should design new solutions that are scalable and yield to high architectural standards.
· Document business and functional requirements, including data flow, business rules, and use cases/ stories
· Work as part of a banking Agile Squad / Fleet.
· Assess the impact of changes on existing business and technology processes, as well as other interfacing systems.
· Code batch jobs using proprietary framework and conduct code reviews.
· Candidate will interface with global team of developers and business users.
· The candidate will support continuous improvement of the automated systems. Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation)
· Working understanding of Agile development methodologies & understanding of DevOps Integration
Skills Required:
· 10+ years of expertise in Loan IQ & Loan IQ SDK development
· Excellent knowledge in Loan IQ Batch Framework & Remote Ops
· Expert in developing LoanIQ Scripted API and Scripted Batch
· Knowledge on Loan IQ Event management. This includes internal validation, internal action, XQuery
· Expert in developing LoanIQ Wizards
· Loan IQ Server side Development (UDTx)
· Expert in understanding Loan IQ Data Model and Components
· Expert in Loan IQ table maintenance
· Strong knowledge on Loan IQ
· Accounting, Accruals & Payments
· Configuration of EMPUSH and debugging knowledge on MQ
· Working knowledge of Spring MVC framework and design patterns
· Expertise in Java EE design and programming, solid understanding of multi-tiered web-based applications
· Strong understanding of RDBMS databases, JDBC, and database access technologies
· Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries (AngularJS, jQuery, etc.)
· Understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.)
· Experience with standard set of Java developments tools including IDEs, build frameworks, source code control, etc.
· Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment
· Good communication and presentation skills: ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; individually or in front of a group
· Working understanding of Agile development methodologies
· Knowledge of Financial market, lending based products and Wealth Management.
Skills Desired:
- Knowledge on MQ Series, JEE Server
