Data COE is looking for an experienced technical Senior Developers who is passionate about data and solving complex data management problems. The candidate will be part of technology team responsible for delivering the Firmwide Data Catalog and other components of the data tooling infrastructure.
Candidate will be working with stakeholders and the Data COE team in other regions to gather requirements, design and provide technology solutions to problems such as data cataloguing, integration of data change management with agile and SDLC processes, tooling for data analytics governance, cloud data governance etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in back-end development, preferably Java, Python, RESTful web services, APIs
- Understanding in software systems design and architecture
- Agile software development practices, TDD, Continuous Integration
- Experience programming using relational databases such as Sybase, DB2, MySQL, Hive
- Data Analysis skills
- Basic understanding and experience working on a Unix/Linux environment
- Excellent communication skills and experience working as part of a global team and interacting with business users
Skills Desired:
- Distributed environments
- Experience with front-end development, preferably with Angular
- RDF/SPARQL/GraphQL, Graph databases or other NOSQL data
- Experience with any Data cataloguing or governance tools/process (Collibra)
