Role: Business Analyst with Life Policy admin exp
Job Location: Appleton, WI
Role & Responsibilities
· Identifying production issues and logging them
· Work with business and software developers to identify and resolve issues
· Analyze data to identify patterns and solutions to root causes of problems
· Conduct meetings, workshops and surveys to gather business requirements
· Develop test scenarios and detailed test plans
· Review test cases and test results that are created by QA
· Coordinating with QA team throughout the testing lifecycle
· Help document business processes detailing tasks involved
Must have skills:
· having hands-on experience on Life Policy Admin System
· Strong Life Domain expertise
· Extensive experience in software testing life cycle like developing requirements, developing detailed test plans, test cases/test beds, test case execution, reviews and defect tracking
· Knowledge of Automation tools
· Knowledge of Test Management tools
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
· Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver.
· Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
· Exposure to data mining techniques using complex SQL queries for test data identification
· Supported functional testing of various insurance business processes
· Should be able to work with multiple stakeholders and must have very good coordination skills
· A team player capable of high performance and flexibility in a dynamic working environment
· Taking ownership and acting with high sense of urgency
Nice to have skills:
· Domain certifications like LOMA
· Develop automation scripts using UFT, Selenium or other technologies
