Job Role: Lead Java Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 6+ Months

Kotlin / Java eng w/ exp building REST APIs using Spring Boot in a cloud env
Project Details:
· This resource will help build new APIs in Kotlin & Spring Boot to support the MY UHC portals
· This is brand-new development that will be done in AWS (the rest of UHG is on Azure generally)
· They want to get their first API in prod in the next 60 days
Candidate Profile:
· Mid-level Java or Kotlin eng
· 3+ yrs exp in an ent env
· 5+ yrs exp overall
· Exp developing complex REST APIs for customer-facing portals
· Exp developing in a cloud env
· Pref AWS
· This team will also need to build their own CI/CD pipelines
Daily Responsibilities:
· Develop new REST APIs in Kotlin & Spring boot
· Develop enhancements to existing services
· Unit testing
· Bug fixes
· Building their own CI/CD pipelines
· Standard agile processes
