Job Description:
Citrix Consultant - Contractor
We are looking for a Citrix Consultant with experience designing, building, and deploying Citrix Cloud on Azure. In this role, you will collaborate with counterparts in the delivery of cloud-based solutions which address our Clients’ needs by leveraging Citrix product and services.
Key Responsibilities
· § Design, Build, and Deploy technical solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
· § Responsible for delivery of critical tasks or projects.
· § Stays focused on departmental and strategic priorities and allocates time and resources accordingly.
· § Rapidly establishes credibility with clients through effective communication of technical knowledge.
· § Demonstrates technical and delivery expertise to meet deadlines and create effective deliverables.
· § Accountable for delivering high quality, innovative products and solutions in a timely fashion
· § Developing and documenting solutions that meet client’s (technical and business) requirements
· Knowledge
· § Citrix products such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and XenDesktop, XenAppCitrix
· § Managed Desktops and Citrix Workspace
· § Citrix Cloud Products and Services - Digital Workspaces, and Networking
· § Citrix on Azure
· § Networking technology such as NetScaler, and Cisco products.
· § Windows Virtual Desktop Services
· § Conduct Solution Design Workshops
· § Design for High Availability
· § Automation, Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code
· § Determine a strategy for migrating existing on-premises workloads to the cloud
· § Select migration tools and/or services for new and migrated solutions
· Skills
· § Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues in enterprise Citrix environment, Including Web Interface, application enumeration and performance issues, Printing and provisioning issues, for internal and external clients
· § Must be independent, self-motivated, a self-starter and possess a good working attitude
· § Professional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· § An understanding of the basic architectural principles of building on the Azure Cloud
· § High degree of confidence and poise.
· § Client focused and results driven
· § SME in a vertical area
· Experience
· § Ability to evaluate requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications
· § Experience building, maintaining, and enhancing business relationships within and outside the company.
· § Should have Planned and executed major migrations: complete analysis of business needs, application, hardware and security requirements.
· Technical experience:
· § Ability to gain clients’ confidence as a trusted advisor
· § Ability to articulate technical, financial and business solution and value proposition
· § Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues in enterprise Citrix environment, Including Web Interface, application enumeration and performance issues, Printing and provisioning issues, for internal and external clients.
· Minimum 8 - 9 years of experience in Enterprise Citrix Environment.
