Azure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for supporting, planning, improving and maintaining on-premise and cloud (Azure) infrastructure. Responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and proprietary applications. Analyze and troubleshoot System and Application related issues, performance and tuning, and capacity management.
Essential Functions –
- Management of Storage, Compute and Network Resources for on-premise and cloud Infrastructure
- Utilize native Azure services to meet business and service level requirements
- Deploying cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Orchestrating and automating of deployment and infrastructure management.
- Coordinate research, implementation and deployment of security and performance upgrades as necessary for on-premise and cloud infrastructure
- Performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting and capacity planning
- Advanced troubleshooting of applications and infrastructure services
- Work with other System Administrators on maintenance and troubleshooting of environment
- Create and maintain documentation of systems and environments
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
- Experience with AZURE ‘administration’ is preferred.
