Title: Senior Big Data Engineer and Data Pipeline Engineer  Location: Eden Prairie, MN Duration: 6+ Months   Measuring the performance of providers. Responsible for the Provider Data Platform (Health Care, Providers, Benefits). Three teams on this project. Responsible for the metrics around provider performance. Are the providers making the right recommendations? How many claims have been approved, denied, etc….Heavy on analytics and data processing. 2.5 million Claims a day.   -         3 Big Data Development Engineers (ie Spark, Scala, Hadoop Ecosystem) -           o   Nice to have – Health care environment. o   Building in AWS – Nice to have. o   45 minutes is spark and scala -           -         1 Data Pipeline Engineer (Kafka, Data Streaming, Java, Cassandra, Kubernetes) o   Focused on Data Streaming. Java development background. Kubernetes/big data (nice to have) o   Kafka o   Spring boot o   Microservices o   NoSQL – Cassandra is preferred. o   Kubernetes/docker – some sort of experience here. Ingesting data with kafka connect. Spring boot to work on data and putting data into Cassandra and building API’s on top of that.
