Job Description:
Platform services Tech Initiative Support Consultants (TISC) direct and monitors all activities for large, high risk, technology-based infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery to the customer. TISCs are responsible for implementing Digital Channels code updates to Production environments. Implementations require adherence to change management and audit compliance for all documentation and install deliverables including formal implementation plan, change records through Remedy, as well as issue reporting in the 5why model. Projects and releases cross platforms, applications and business lines. Team member will work with business partners to coordinate Production Support roles and activities in technology concepts, requirements, system design, and project schedules for new systems initiatives.
TISC is to provide clear and comprehensive status reports, project updates, significant issue management and resolution, communication with the business lines and technology management, often at senior management levels. Combination of education and work experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years project management experience managing large infrastructure projects. TISCs are responsible for planning, managing and facilitating all production support activities and resources required to successfully complete a projects goals and objectives for the project scope.
Tech Consultant Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
1. Manage large scale, high risk, technology-based business projects and infrastructure projects. The primary project work includes: Infrastructure technology efforts where the TISC manages tasks for all environments, both preproduction and production for both hardware and software. Efforts can include both physical and virtual infrastructure as well as networking and firewall work. TISCs also manage all the production support deliverables for any scrum team deliverables with impacts to support.
2. Planned Release and install work – Digital Channel functional updates to Production for Fraud authentication and prevention platforms. This includes creating detailed game plans (word doc), coordinating resources for implementation, managing installs via bridgeline and shared chat sessions, ensuring production environment availability both during and after deployment of code. Install administration includes submission of Change Requests through Remedy software.
3. Unplanned Emergency Change Request work (ECR) - This work is for unplanned exception installs and could be to remediate customer impacting Production issues or fast-tracked middleware vulnerability remediation.
Desired Skills and tools:
* Agile experience as Scrum master or Product owner
* Microsoft Project required
* Agile tools - kanban, jira, confluence
