We have an opportunity for Solution/Enterprise Architect with one of our clients in Myerstown/ Philadelphia/Allentown/Harrisburg PA OR Whippany, NJ
Title: Solution/Enterprise Architect
Location: Myerstown/ Philadelphia/Allentown/Harrisburg PA OR Whippany, NJ
Duration: 6+ months
Required - Experience with OT IT convergence projects - Azure/ AWS Certified
Seeking a solution architect for Global Consumer Health Smart Factory program to design sustainable solutions to help the program merge OT and IT data to create business insights and drive use case implementation.
Purpose: The solution and integration architect is globally responsible for the design & integration of IT solutions, supporting and leading the development of business solutions. The position is part of a team with a solutions ownership role. The architect contributes to the engagement by developing convincing business cases and value propositions .
Major tasks and responsibilities:
- Consulting and requirements management regarding technology areas and process optimization in close collaboration with business process owner
- Conception of the architecture of the IT application / solution landscape
- Design and analysis of system architectures - Technical planning, design and implementation of project working packages regarding architectural aspects
- Selection and implementation of state of the art IT solutions including E2E responsibility for solution's operability.
- Ensuring system integrity and stability across changes applied to the respective application cluster and interfaces to other process streams
- Develops, manages, and maintains an enterprise integration strategy and roadmap in close cooperation with Enterprise Architecture
- Oversees the application/implementation of new work processes
- Supports communication between the stakeholder and the project team during deployment
- Collaborates with the architecture community to align solutions with target architectures and roadmaps (across domains) and the enterprise's EA framework (e.g. EA Principles)
- Presents new architectural solutions/reference architectures to the EAAB
- Takes responsibility for the lifecycle management of a solution.
Qualifications (Education, skills, experiences and personal characteristics necessary for success):
- Ability to demonstrate thought leadership
- Performance driven nature
- Excellent analytical and problem solving capability
- Demonstrates strong business minded consultative approach with focus on profitability and margin
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information system, or a related field
- At least eight years of experience in the IT industry
- Wide experience in developing customer-centric solutions
- Strong experience in standard IT architectures and frameworks
- Knowledge and experience in change management for global environments Proven leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills as well as experience in managing matrix organizations
